Overview

The Governors are proposing to:-

  1. To continue to run all nursery provision for 2-3 year olds at Dersingham VA Primary and Nursery School, but from 1 April 2023, this will be done through the Community Facility Powers under the direction of the School Governors.
  2. To change the age range at Dersingham VA Primary and Nursery School from 2 - 11 to 4 - 11 from 1st April 2023. The published admission number (PAN) for the main school will not be affected by these proposals. The PAN for the maintained nursery class will cease to exist, as nursery provision will be offered in a more flexible way, according to parental demand.

Nursery provision will continue to be provided on the site of Dersingham VA Primary and Nursery School, both the school and nursery will continue to be governed by the same board and led by the same head teacher. The nursery provision will operate via Section 27 Community Facility Powers under the direction of the School Governors from Dersingham VA Primary and Nursery School.
