SEND survey 2025

Closed 23 Feb 2025

Opened 13 Jan 2025

Overview

Special educational needs and/or disability (SEND) survey

The SEND survey is open to parents and carers, professionals and children and young people (CYP) with SEND (0–25).

It gives everyone a chance to give their views about SEND services and support in Norfolk. Why do we have a biennial SEND survey?

Each group has their own set of questions, but the questions cover the same themes.

If you have more than one child with SEND, please complete a parents/carers survey for each child.

Confidentiality

You do not need to give your name or contact details. No personal or individual feedback will be published.

Norfolk County Council’s privacy notice is set out here

How long will the survey take?

We think most people will be able to complete the survey in 20-25 minutes. You do not have to answer every question.

If you need to leave, use the save button. You will be sent an email with a unique link so you can return and complete the survey.

What happens next

Feedback will help the council understand what is working well and where improvements are needed. By sharing your experiences and suggestions and contributing to the survey, parents, carers, professionals and CYP with SEND will help create a more inclusive and supportive environment.

All feedback is read, and your views help us make changes to improve SEND services and support. Our last SEND survey in 2023 led to a new SEND strategy and actions to address the concerns raised.
