Your ideas for a new library in Great Yarmouth
Overview
Great Yarmouth Borough Council recently submitted a bid for £19.9m to help transform and revive Great Yarmouth town centre as a vibrant economic, cultural and community hub. At the heart of this transformation would be a brand new community library in the town centre. Our ambitious plans are set to transform the ground floor of the old Palmers department store in Great Yarmouth into a new state-of-the art library.
Although we love our current library, we feel that moving it to a prime town centre location will mean many more people will be able to access our much-loved services. What's more we'll be able to develop new activities to help people in Great Yarmouth to live, learn and grow.
This survey has been set up so that we can listen to your ideas and get to know what Great Yarmouth residents want from their library.
We will feed back all your ideas and suggestions into our design process.
