Overview

Exchange Street area, Norwich
The proposed changes for Exchange Street and parts of the surrounding road network are designed to help us achieve the aims of making it safer and easier to get around on foot or by bike, supporting opportunities for outdoor hospitality, boosting the local economy and improving air quality.

We're asking for feedback on these proposals as part of our wider 'Connecting the Norwich Lanes' consultation - a series of measures that aim to make it safer and easier to get around on foot or by bike, support opportunities for outdoor hospitality, boost the local economy and improve air quality.

What happens next

The deadline for consultation responses is Monday 9 August 2021. The feedback received on each of the project areas will then be analysed and, where appropriate, the plans revised in response. The points raised through the consultation will then be reported back to local councillors along with the final proposals for scheme delivery.

The project web page www.norfolk.gov.uk/norwichlanes will be kept up to date with the latest information, progress and relevant committee dates.
