Shaping Norfolk's libraries - customer survey
Overview
Norfolk Library and Information Service plays a key role in and for Norfolk’s communities. The service currently operates across 47 branch libraries placed in the heart of communities, with five mobile library vans reaching out to communities further away from these branch locations with regular visits, alongside a digital offer.
Our service gives free access for all to:
- Books and other resources
- Community spaces
- Wi Fi and PC access
- A wide range of activities
- Support and advice, including advice for small and start-up businesses through our regional Business & IP Centre based at Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library, and six BIPC Locals based at branch libraries.
We also offer a range of services to respond to the specific needs and interests of our local communities. For example, we provide English language and International Welcome sessions for those new to Norfolk, hot drinks and warm packs for people in need during the winter months, and support groups for carers and parents.
Although it’s good to respond to local needs as they happen, it also helps to have a plan, and we and we would like your feedback to help us develop a plan for the future of our libraries.
Why your views matter
We need your help with developing our strategy and plan for the next 5-10 years.
Your feedback will help to give us a current picture of why you visit your local library, or if you don't currently what could change that. We'd also like to hear about your vision of the library of the future.
The short survey should only take about 10 minutes to complete.
