Disposal of the site of the former Blofield Primary School at North Street, Blofield
Overview
Norfolk County Council wishes to dispose of the site of the former Blofield Primary School, North Street, Blofield, Norwich, Norfolk, NR13 4RH, which is anticipated to close in Spring 2025. The school is to be relocated to a newly constructed building on Blofield Primary School, Plantation Road, Blofield, Norwich, Norfolk, NR13 4PL to accommodate an increase in pupil numbers due to new homes building built in the area. The site will become vacant once the move is completed in Spring 2025.
Norfolk County Council is required to achieve best consideration from the disposal of its property assets and in this case it is anticipated this is most likely to be achieved through the disposal of the property for residential redevelopment.
Any development proposal would be subject to a full planning submission via Broadland District Council, which would involve consultation with the public.
